For Healthcare Professionals

The award-winning Cancer Survival Toolbox® is a great resource for the healthcare setting. It is given to newly diagnosed patients, used by patient navigators, offered in patient resource libraries, provided at survivorship programs and conferences, and listened to in a support group setting. Let us know if there are other tools or information we could provide that would help you use and distribute the program.

You can download the Manual at no cost in its entirety or section by section. The Toolbox Facilitator's Manual is a great way to learn how to incorporate the Toolbox into a healthcare practice. The manual includes:

    • Welcome letter from the development team
    • Toolbox and advocacy history and basics
    • Overview of support groups and how to run one
    • Agendas and guides for group setting
    • Handouts and activities for the basic skills modules (modules 1-6)
    • Evaluation tools
    • Materials to promote your group

You can also download FAQs developed for nurses and social workers who use and help distribute the program.
