For Health Care Professionals

The Cancer Survival Toolbox®  is a great resource for the healthcare setting. It is given to newly diagnosed patients, used by patient navigators, offered in patient resource libraries, provided at survivorship programs and conferences, and listened to in a support group setting.

The Toolbox Facilitator's Manual is a great way to learn how to incorporate the Toolbox into your healthcare practice. The manual includes:

  • Toolbox history and basics
  • Overview of how to run a support group
  • Agendas for group setting
  • Handouts and activities for the basic skills modules (modules 1-6)
  • Evaluation tools (you can also download just the evaluation forms)
  • Information for how to promote your group

You can also download FAQs developed for nurses and social workers who use and help distribute the program.
