Kaleidoscope on Ice is the 4th annual star-studded live holiday spectacular on ice which celebrates skating, song, and survivorship in an unforgettable evening.
Kaleidoscope is an initiative that was created to salute cancer survivors and to give thanks to those that have helped survivors through their cancer journey. Kaleidoscope provides cancer survivors with inspiration, information, and resources to help them thrive and feel empowered.
The center piece of the Kaleidoscope campaign is a nationally televised special that brings together a star-studded cast of award-winning musicians and champion athletes in an artistic salute to cancer survivors nationwide.
This year, Kaleidoscope, presented nationally by Carolinas Healthcare System’s Levine Cancer Institute, will feature Olympic superstars Gabrielle Douglas and Aly Raisman, who will join hosts Scott Hamilton and Verne Lundquist as their special guests. The show stars Olympic silver medalist Nancy Kerrigan, Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen, four-time world champion Kurt Browning and Olympic silver medalist Paul Wylie, who now lives in the Charlotte area. Special musical performances by country music icon and Grand Ole Opry member Craig Morgan, Grammy Award-winning pop legends Kool & The Gang and country music chart-topping star Jana Kramer will add to the celebration.
The live event and taping of Kaleidoscope 2012 will be Wednesday, November 14th, at 7:00pm at the Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. The broadcast special will air nationally over Thanksgiving weekend on Sunday, November 25, 2012, directly following the NFL game from 5:00-6:00pm ET on CBS.
