This program focuses on what needs to be done in the first weeks and months after a diagnosis. Using survivor stories as examples, the program covers gathering information and resources, selecting a care team and getting a care plan, reviewing ones health insurance policy, and talking about a diagnosis with others. It helps to reinforce that others have been through the experience and have been able to navigate difficult issues as well.
