Adapting to Life as a Cancer Survivor

The first line in panelist Dr. Bernadine Healy's book, Living Time, is "So this is how I die."  But she suggests that the time between getting the diagnosis and the end of life be viewed as "living time," a time to make the most of every minute you have and get on with your life.  Tell us about how having cancer changed (or didn't change) your life and how you have adapted to your new life as a survivor.
