Communications Manager

The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) has an opening for a Communications Manager who is responsible for promoting the NCCS mission through written communication and other forms of outreach to various constituencies, including cancer survivors and their loved ones, policy makers, news media and health care practitioners.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in communication-related work for a consumer-focused health care organization, public relations firm, advocacy group, legislative office or government agency.  Must be team-oriented, have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Located in downtown Silver Spring, NCCS is the oldest survivor-led cancer advocacy organization in the country, advocating for quality cancer care for all Americans and empowering cancer survivors.  NCCS offers competitive salaries and benefits.

Cancer survivors are encouraged to apply!
