ASCO Tribute
Each year, in partnership with The ASCO Cancer Foundation, NCCS pays honor to ASCO’s outgoing President with a tribute event at the annual ASCO meeting. This annual event which was established in 2000 for retiring Executive Vice President, Dr. John R. Durant, has become a wonderful opportunity for attendees, ASCO leadership, ASCO past-presidents, and others to pay tribute to the accomplishments and dedication of the ASCO Outgoing President.
The ASCO Cancer Foundation supports educational programs of the highest quality in cancer care and prevention; facilitates the dissemination of information about cancer and cancer treatment to patients and their families; and, through its grants program, supports, encourages, and recognizes excellence in clinical research in the field of oncology.
